Designer Kara Lusardi takes this Socialite Tee line to the next level

Just after NY Fashion Week –

Designer Kara Lusardi was on hand for a night of fashion and cocktails at Citrine. The event reminded us of the bobi-Vinyl Vixen event we attended last March at the W lounge in Westwood, LA. As before, the music was deafening, the vodka cocktails plentiful, and a big flat screen scrolled-through Kara’s latest designs for bobi.
We grabbed Kara as she made her entrance in a gown that’s at the top of our shopping list – a navy deep V-front dress in signature comfy bobi jersey. “This gown, said Kara, is the most expensive thing on the line”.
By “expensive” she’s talking $149. We had her repeat the figure, thinking we’d misheard, due to the din at the bar, but we hadn’t.
This collection takes care of the “I need some new tee shirts to wear with my jeans and longer ones to wear with my leggings that are well-priced” dilemma. And now, the v-front gown and the other additions to the line offer a great solution for what-to-wear if you want to achieve “understated glamour” in something other than your LBD [Little Black Dress].

“Who’s NOT on the list?” we jokingly asked Kara, as she have us the following names of A-listers who are bobi fans. There were more, but we didn’t jot them all down.

I LOVE Bobi and I LOVE reading more about the line. We just got the purple dress on the bottom right in last week. We have already almost sold out of them. Seems to be a big hit...
